Cathy Rios

Cathy Araceli was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1965, to a large family of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Her childhood was spent in Guadalajara in a home bursting with family and friends. Even as a small child she was fascinated by computers and decided to study Computer Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, graduating in 1987, and becoming the first generation in this career. She worked for 2 years in Invermexico, a stock market company, and installed one of the first private satellite data and voice systems in México. During that time, her parents had built a house in Bucerías, Nayarit, and she used to come on weekends twice a month to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the area. On one of those trips, more than 20 years ago, she met her future husband and in less than 6 months they were married. They have 2 beautiful boys who are growing and thriving in this amazing environment of Vallarta. When Araceli moved to Vallarta she started a computer business that became very successful, representing the authorized warranty service for Hewlett Packard and Acer and delivering equipment which Telmex (Teléfonos de Mexico) had introduced. Stemming from that experience, she began to enjoy the customer service aspects of the business. After 15 years with her own business she decided to make a change and started working in the new Fluvial Vallarta project, first in administration and later coordinating the sales department. During her position with Fluvial Vallarta she met Desiree Lara through a mutual friend and Araceli was invited to work at the Paradise office of Prudential California Vallarta Division She thought it was a great opportunity to continue working in real estate for a company with such an excellent reputation working there for 10 years. At the end of 2017 She decide to join in partnership NUHome Mexico Real Estate. Since then she has increased her knowledge of real estate and is sure she will keep learning and enjoying her profession, associates and clients who make her work so interesting, exciting and fun! She is currently member of the board of the AMPI (Mexican Real Estate Association) Riviera Nayarit chapter.
